Symega expands presence in North India with new seasoning facility in Sonipat

INDIA – Symega Food Ingredients Ltd., one of India’s largest seasoning manufacturers, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana. 

Situated in the Rai Industrial Area, operated by HSIIDC Limited, the plant is expected to strengthen Symega’s market reach in North and East India, catering to the rising demand for its food ingredient solutions.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by industry leaders, with Mr. Jagrut Kotecha, CEO of PepsiCo India & South Asia, as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Dr. Viju Jacob, Executive Chairman, and Mr. Aju Jacob, Managing Director, of Synthite Industries Pvt. Ltd. 

This facility marks a strategic investment aimed at improving operational efficiency and accelerating supply chain processes to better serve customers across the region.

Designed to enhance Symega’s production capacity, the plant will focus on manufacturing seasonings for snacks, noodles, breakfast mixes, and other food applications. 

By situating operations closer to key customers, the company aims to reduce lead times and optimize logistics, ensuring a steady supply of fresh, high-quality seasoning solutions.

The facility is expected to provide several benefits to Symega’s customers, including quicker turnaround times, improved supply chain efficiency, and closer collaboration opportunities. 

The expansion aligns with the company’s broader objective of fostering deeper engagement with food brands, manufacturers, and quick-service restaurant (QSR) chains across North India.
