Foodpreneurs Hub expands with new media platform for food innovators

AFRICA – In an exciting expansion, Foodpreneurs Hub has launched a media arm designed to empower and connect food entrepreneurs and innovators with valuable industry insights, trends, and community support.

This new platform includes news updates, expert-driven blogs, and the flagship publication, Food Innovators Magazine, which offers in-depth features, interviews, and case studies centered on Africa’s food sector.

“When Yosola Oke and I relaunched Foodpreneurs Hub late last year, we sought media outlets focused on the food industry to help amplify our vision. But we quickly found that existing platforms often lacked a focus on the unique needs of food entrepreneurs. Recognizing this gap, we committed ourselves to filling it,” CEO and Founder Olushola Oladejo shared.

“After months of planning and ideation led by Catherine Odhiambo, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of FH Media, a platform dedicated exclusively to advancing food innovation in Africa.”

With daily news updates covering investments, innovations, regulatory changes, and market trends, Foodpreneurs Hub’s media section aims to keep industry members informed. The blogs delve deeper, providing expert analysis and practical insights on challenges faced by food entrepreneurs, such as accessing funding, scaling production, and navigating regulatory frameworks.

Food Innovators Magazine further extends this reach with a quarterly release focusing on major themes shaping African food businesses. Each edition includes trends and insights, expert opinions, how-to guides, and community highlights.

“We’re here to provide foodpreneurs with a platform for knowledge, growth, and meaningful connections,” Yosola Oke, Co-Founder, Foodpreneurs Hub, added.

Foodpreneurs Hub was founded in 2023 by Olushola Oladejo and Yosola Oke with the mission of empowering and supporting food innovators across Africa. The company aims to democratize food processing, enhance food security, and promote sustainability across the continent.

They achieve this by providing comprehensive training, mentorship programs, and community support to aspiring entrepreneurs. Foodpreneurs Hub fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration, equipping their community with the knowledge, resources, and network needed to succeed in the food industry.

Their vision is to reduce food loss, improve food security, and support sustainable food practices, making a positive impact on Africa’s food industry.

“Our media initiative is dedicated to telling the stories of African foodpreneurs and bringing greater visibility to their efforts in food innovation and sustainability,” says Catherine Odhiambo, Head of Media, Community & Events, Foodpreneurs Hub.
